Our Mission
Women’s Ministries strives to continue the mission of our local church through numerous activities, events and service projects which provide a variety of ways for women to fellowship and grow in Christian love and friendship. Friendship with other women is vital to the health and well-being of women of allages. Having the opportunity to share with our “girlfriends” our praises as well as our prayer requests deepens our friendships, emboldens our faith, and strengthens our relationships with God.
Friendship with God– Fall and Spring Bible studies provide women the opportunity to enhance their personal walk with God and to meet and share their life’s experiences with other women.
Friendship with Others– The events and activities we sponsor for women, such as the Annual Christmas Craft & Dinner, Girlfriends Time Out fun events, and our OKC First Girlfriends’ Retreat provide many opportunities to meet and deepen friendships with other women. We invite ladies not only from our own church, but also from our sister congregations as well as ladies from the various missions. The annual District Women’s Retreat gives ladies a chance to begin and renew friendships with other churches on the Northwest Oklahoma District. Women’s Ministries fundraisers not only help to raise money for our service projects, but also assists us inproviding scholarships to those who would otherwise not be able to participate in our activities and retreats due to financial constraints.
Friendship With the World– Women’s Ministries sponsors numerous service projects throughout the year to benefit not only our local church, but also our sister churches and area missions and ministries. Through these service projects, we are provided the opportunity to reach out to others in Christian fellowship and love.
