Neighborhood Ministries

It has become apparent that God is calling us to respond to the challenges facing the unique corridor of NW Expressway and NW 63rd Streets. God is calling us to be hope in the neighborhood.  As our neighborhood pastor, Jeremy is helping us as a church family to respond to some of those challenges through social justice, compassion, and benevolence.  Here are some of the ways that we are participating in providing hope to our city, and especially our neighborhood:
Literacy
There are literacy and ESL classes at OKC First that meet from 6-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Hope Box
We operate a small food pantry for those persons in need of extra groceries, regardless of their story. We encourage all congregants to donate to this food pantry.
Grocery Delivery
Once a month we work with persons of faith to deliver groceries to families all over Oklahoma City.  To find out how you can partner with this exciting ministry, contact Lance Schmitz at lanceschmitz@gmail.com.
