NOTICE: You may have observed that there are no music selections in our audio library. To provide music selections on our church website we must obtain certain copyright licenses. We are currently evaluating the cost of these licenses. We are, however, allowed to distribute the entire church service audio including live music on CD. These CDs are available to order for a small fee of $3 which covers the cost of postage and the cost for CD duplication.

On March 5, 2006 Oklahoma City First Church of the Nazarene and Fairview Missionary Baptist Church met in a combined service at Fairview.

Background: OKC First held a Forum on Race Relations on January 22, 2006 and invited Fairview's Pastor, Dr. J.R. Reed, to sit on the panel. This was a discussion on racism and how the church can be a vital part of healing. This combined service is a product of two congregations with a desire for racial harmony, Christian fellowship, and a belief that God can help heal a nation where racism is still a problem. |
