We are learning to do three things; open friendship for the sake of the world is our call.

God’s selfless love shapes and encourages us to make ourselves available to a broken world in need of help, hope and friendship. Our various ministries and programs designed for our neighborhood, our city and the world are meant to communicate God’s care and passion for Life.

Transformed Lives
This summer we will have several folks of all ages leave the OKC metro area to live out our call of bringing hope to the world and lives will be transformed! As their church family, we can offer them support with prayer and donations of resources. Please consider how you can be a part of helping them achieve their mission this summer.

This team will be partnering with Extreme Nazarene. The focus of the trip will be building a church building in Puerto Maldonado, a town of 20,000 in the Amazon rain forest. The church is well-established but they do not currently have a building. Please pray for this team as they continue to prepare for this trip & that they will have safe travels. Please also lift up the people in Peru as they welcome us to fellowship and build relationships with them. Pray that this team may be open to learn from those we will serve with and that God will be able to use our group to share Christ’s love in very tangible ways. The students are collecting supplies to take with them. If you would like to donate to Amanda’s expenses or for the purchase of supplies needed, please mark your donation “Amanda Cummings.”

Josh Baskett with Trinity Nazarene to Haiti from June 30-July 7
This team will be rebuilding a damaged church in Jacmel, which is south of the capital city Port-au-Prince. We will also have a pediatrician and a nurse on our team, so we will host daily medical clinics as well. Pray for safe travels - going through the mountains can be rough; pray for spiritual growth for the team members. Also lift up the people of Jacmel. This community has an outbreak of unmarried couples living together - one of our main missions will be to witness to them about the importance of marriage. Supply donations are needed. If you would like to help with this mission, please mark donations “Haiti 2012”.

INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES... is actively working behind the scenes in Zambia, Africa and Jacmel, Haiti this year! We have committed to send $10,000 to cover materials and labor to continue the work on the Africa Central Field Conference and Training Centre located just outside the capitol city of Lusaka, Zambia. This facility is located in a rural area, on the same 20 acre property of the first Nazarene Church in Zambia, and is the first building that will become a campus of training opportunity for Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi. This is a project that we have been committed to since 2009 through The Zambia Partnership and LUKA International Foundation and there are many ways that you can become part of this vision, set by our Zambian leadership, for ministry capacity-building in this region.
