DRIVERS NEEDED... to provide transportation to the church from Mt. Vernon and Meridian Ridge throughout the week and on Sundays. No CDL is required.

SAVE THE BLOCK... will kick off on March 3 at Mt. Vernon. We want to come alongside our neighbors and serve them in tangible ways. The Save the Block teams are forming NOW and we need you!

CHILDCARE VOLUNTEERS... are needed for the third Friday and Saturday of the month here at the church for our new partnership with Single Parent’s Support Network.

 

 

DELEGATES NEEDED… If you are a church member and are willing to serve as a delegate to either District Assembly (April 22, 8:30am) or Missions Conference (April 23, 8:30am), please contact the church office (843-9588) by Monday, Feb. 20 or note your interest in the friendship folder TODAY!

 

ASH WEDNESDAY…The season of Lent will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 22 with our Ash Wednesday service at noon and 6:30pm. This is a very meaningful and moving service. Please invite your friends and family to be a part of this worship service.

 

DIAPER DRIVE... We have a family that is in need of diapers, newborn girl’s clothing and an infant car seat. Please bring donated items to the collection bin by the west entrance. We will be collecting items until March 4.

 

GOSPEL SING... Join us on Feb. 25 at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary for an evening of gospel music presented by the Oklahoma United Gospel Music Association. A love offering will be taken. For additional information, please visit ougma.org or call 324-2144.

 

S&B BURGER JOINT... Mark your calendars for Feb. 28 from 11am-10pm. We will be participating in the S&B Burger Joint’s Pay It Forward event. They will donate 10% of all proceeds that day for our programming needs. They have two locations, on May and downtown on 9th.

 

MISSIONS PROJECT... Come help us cover the kids in Africa from head to toes in prayer by making crochet hats and booties on Feb. 29 at 6:30pm in the Caritas room. Don’t know how to crochet? We’ll have a teacher there to show you step by step. Already know how? Come see the pattern and design so we can work together on this project that is sponsored by Women’s Ministries.

 

THE COLE RUN... We will be hosting our first 5K & Fun Run (1 mile)! Get your training shoes on, grab some friends and join the fun on March 31 at Stars & Stripes park. The 5K ($20) will start at 8:00am and the fun run ($10) will start at 9:30am. All funds raised on March 31 will help finish the Cole Community Center building!
