Stephanie Johnson has been a member of the OKC First congregation since 1995. But even before that, she grew up often traveling with the youth group for district events and has always considered Jon her youth pastor! She began her lay ministry here at OKC First in November 2006 when she could no longer ignore the call that God had placed on her to be in ministry. Her goals for ministry focuses on helping people experience God through compassion in tough times and celebration in joyous times. She hopes to accomplish these goals through prayer and presence, while never allowing for a families to feel alone in their triumphs and struggles.

 

 

In January 2011, Stephanie’s role changed to a full time position in the office as the Ministry Formation Pastor. She fulfills this role by administrative support for many of the pastoral staff as well as ministry coordination. She serves as the liaison for our partners in ministry outside of the church and works to find partners and resources that our community can utilize. Stephanie also serves as a Strengths Advisor alongside Mindy Banz. She is also the lead minister for Marriage Mentoring along with her strapping husband, Jeffrey, who she married in May 2000.

 

Stephanie prides herself in her family – to include her husband Jeffrey and their four precious children – Maggie, Nolan, Levi and Max.
