Kim started her ministry here at OKC First in May of 2006 as Interim Music Minister and become the permanent Pastor of Worship Ministries in November 2006. She is responsible for conducting choir, orchestra, and handbells and planning Sunday worship services and special musical presentations. She is also working to build more involvement in worship for everyone in the congregation from preschool to adults. Kim strives to choose music that will match individual and group talents to varying musical styles and selections whether they be traditional or contemporary with the overall goal to build a worshipping community that looks like Jesus Christ.

Kim is originally from Washington state and came to Oklahoma to attend Southern Nazarene University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education. She also holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Kim and her husband, Ken, have one son, Benjamin. Kim loves to perform professionally and travel with her husband and son.
