Student Ministries is about living in Rhythm with God.  The rhythm of God can be seen perhaps as a song; a song in the world with which we can be in sync or in tune.  In His taking on of flesh, Jesus shows us what God is like; He shows us how the song is played.

In student ministries we are committed to helping teens tune themselves to God’s song.  In so doing we find students striving to live more like Jesus trying very hard to be in friendship with God, each other, and the world.

Life For Others

Life Hurts God Heals Every Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm.
Is a program for students based on 8 Biblical Principles that follow the Beatitudes found in Matthew. LHGH is designed to help students work through their hurts, habits, and hang-ups --including, but not limited to, alcohol or drug addiction, abuse, guilt, anger, and grief. We meet in as a large group for a lesson then break up into age and gender specific small groups to answer questions and work through the lesson. For questions, please contact Kristin Moyer.

Outpost Every Sunday from 4:30-6pm. Meridian Ridge Apartments (63rd & Meridian).
This is an effort to support and build relationships with our surrounding community. It is a block party style event in which we go to the apartments and serve hotdogs, chips and drinks. Through this effort we have the opportunity to discover the needs of our community and respond as a people of faith.
