Adult Sunday School
The Sunday School hour (give or take a few minutes!) gives us opportunity to explore friendship with God and friendship with others.  You’ll find rooms full of good coffee, a few donuts, good teaching and waves of laughter.  Because we believe education to be an indispensible element in the life of a believer, we value these opportunities to learn faith together.

Branches  9:30 until the choir sings.  Room 46.
Teachers:  Mike and Vanette Bell
The Branches class consists of married couples in their mid 20’s to 30’s that meets a little bit later each week.  We rotate who brings breakfast and the fertility-enriched coffee is always brewing.  Mike leads a discussion class geared on living your Christian life outside the church walls, covering topics that include: what to do when your wife makes you ride in the trunk, “your teeth look like sheep” and other pickup lines, and when in doubt, the answer to every question is “Jesus.”  We try to have a guys night, girls night, and class party on a regular basis, all of which are guaranteed to involve food…come & see.  Just remember, Jesus is the vine, and we are “The Branches.”

Caritas Class  9:00-10:00.  Room 20 North.
Teacher:  Dr. Jirair Tashjian
The Caritas Sunday School Class is made up of friendly caring seniors who enjoy scripture-based lessons taught by former pastor John Roberts.  It’s a group that knows how to pray and loves a laugh around the coffee pot on Sunday mornings.

Companions in Christ  9:25-10:15.  Room 21.
Leaders:  Eric Jergensen and Kent Nabors
All through the year, you will enjoy our stimulating multi-generational discussions, warm fellowship, and strong coffee  -- please join us!

Edge of Adventure  9:15-10:15.  Room 20 South.
Teachers:  Dr. Walt and Linda Crow
The Edge of Adventure Sunday School Class is an informal gathering for adults of all ages.  We make no assumptions about anyone regarding where we are on our spiritual journey, but have agreed to make the “Adventure of Faith” the objective of our discussions and of our time together.  Our only desire is to become more like Jesus.

Friendship Class  9:15-10:15.  Room 43.
Teacher:  Stan Martin
This 40-something group is firmly committed to building friendships that last a lifetime.  Using small group dynamics, our class provides support and encouragement to one another through all circumstances of life.  We invite you to come join us for great fellowship, friendship and Biblical teaching. Starting in January, we will be discussing “The Questions Jesus Asked.”

The Group  9:15-10:15.  Room 50.
Teacher/Leader: Jason Hubbert
A group of post-college people getting together to hang out, pray, and look at scripture.

Higher Calling  9:30-10:15.  (The Parlor) Room 14.
We are an Adult SS class meeting from 9:30-10:15 on Sunday mornings in the Parlor; a diverse group with a broad range of ages, family makeup, professions etc, but we have a common goal: to know Christ and to make Him known.

Newly Married/Engaged  9:15-10:15.  Room 44.
Leaders:  Millers and Middendorfs
Newly married or engaged couples growing together in Christ through conversation, community, and coffee.

The Gathering  9:30-10:15.  Room 9.
Teacher:  Brad Strawn
This class is perfect for the life-loving, slightly irreverent, passionate followers of Christ!  We are people from all walks of life (married with kids of all ages or single).  The format is topical studies (a book of the Bible or theme from scripture), discussion-based and fun!
